She reminds me of the joy of not giving up Driving hard through the lane and taking it to the cup And in a time when I almost found it diffult to cope She came through and gave me a renewed hope.

Love like when I first shot a basketball And found it hard to put it down A love for summer, winter, spring, and fall A love that will not let me go to bed with a frown
